Biography:
Michael Maly's most recent research involves examining the experiences of Whites growing up in racially changing neighborhoods between 1955 to 1980. Dr. Maly's research examines the intersection of race, memory, and urban space. His findings center on the roles of nostalgia, border creating and patrolling, and the construction of White racial identity.
