Merrimack College will assist the communities of Lawrence and Methuen. The COPC will: assist neighborhood organizations and area Community Development Corporations in expanding their capacity; work with the two local PHAs to increase the proportion of owner-occupied housing; increase social service delivery in these cities; provide training to would-be and actual micro-enterprise owners; and implement workforce and drop-out prevention programs.
