| The Community and Economic Development (CED) program at the New Hampshire College is unique in that it is the only one in the country offering masters and doctoral degrees specifically in community economic development. A central part of the CED curriculum is the requirement that students work on community projects or serve as interns. CDWSP Students will gain practical experience through their work with The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, The Center for Community and Economic Development, and Working Capital (a micro-credit program operating in 8 states.) The curriculum offered at New Hampshire College is directly related to issues of the community and its economic development. Courses offered include studies of indigenous economics, development of cooperatives, finance, business development and more.
