| Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) will use its $90,000 Community Development Work Study Program (CDWSP) grant to assist economically disadvantaged and minority students obtain a masters degree. The School of Community Economic Development (CED) at SNHU is the only one in the country offering masters and doctoral degrees specifically in Community Economic Development. Students are required to work on community projects or internships as a central part of the CED curriculum. Standing agreements and relationships with local organizations for internships, including the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority, and the Center for Community Economic Development.
