| The Ohio State University has been awarded $399,994 in Community Outreach Partnership Centers Program (COPC) funding to work with the residents of the Weinland Park neighborhood in Columbus, OH. The goal of the COPC is to strengthen and stabilize the Weinland Park neighborhood and the community as a whole by making the resources of the University available in particular areas of concern identified by the community as their most pressing needs. Activities will provide structures for community involvement in dialogue with each other to discover community strengths, training for job skills and readiness, business start up assistance, and training, mentoring, and support systems for more successful family living.
