| University of Minnesota (UM) College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture intends to use its COPC Futures Demonstration grant in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul. UM plans to develop, build, and evaluate case study prototype houses using a new Structural Engineered Panel building system that the affordable housing industry can replicate around the State and beyond. As a result of this effort, 10 prototype houses will be developed that integrate affordability with sustainable design, healthy construction, social and cultural responsiveness, and design excellence.
