| Valparaiso University (VU) intends to use its Community Outreach Partnership Centers New Directions grant in the Hilltop neighborhood. This neighborhood is lacking in many aspects of life and requires assistance to help relieve some of its hardships. This program will focus on two major areas: the proposition of a lead-based hazard program and the lack of financial literacy of the neighborhood residents. These programs will provide educational awareness and knowledge, as well as professional training.
