| Passaic County Community College (PCCC) intends to use its Hispanic-Serving Institutions Assisting Communities (HSIAC) grant to support its program entitled "New Skills for a Digital Economy." The purpose of this grant is to provide low-income Hispanic residents and businesses in Paterson, New Jersey, with the technology skills needed to succeed in today’s information-based economy. Through its project, PCCC will implement three important activities: 1) a business/technology training for Hispanic businesses and entrepreneurs; 2) an after school multimedia training program for Hispanic children; and 3) an English as a Second Language (ESL) and technology skills training program.
