Overview
St. Philip’s College intends to use its HSIAC grant to renovate and restore the Springview Miller building for the purpose of providing higher education and training services to one of the most economically depressed areas in the city. The Springview Miller building, which is owned by the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA), is ideally located in an area accessible to public housing and EZ residents in the eastside target corridor. The facility will house two specific components: a workstation multipurpose computer lab and a neighborhood improvement lab. The remaining space will be dedicated to general classroom use.
