| Alabama A&M University will receive a Community Development Work Study Program grant of $90,000 to help three economically disadvantaged and minority students obtain their masters degrees in Urban and Regional Planning. The grant will not only be used to pay for their education but will also provide funds for work experiences related to their coursework. Among the agencies that students will be able to work with are the Decatur and Madison Community Development Departments, the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments, and the Housing Authority of the City of Huntsville.
