| The State University of West Georgia will receive a Community Development Work Study Program grant of $82,464 to help three economically disadvantaged and minority students obtain their masters degrees in Rural and Small Town Planning. The grant will not only be used to pay for their education but will also provide funds for work experiences related to their coursework. Among the agencies that students will be able to work with are the Atlanta Regional Commission, the Chattahoochee-Flint Regional Development Center, the Cities of Carrollton of Bowdoin, and Carroll and Paulding Counties.
