| The Masters in City Planning (MCP) program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will use Community Development Work Study Program (CDWSP) funds to cover the tuition of three full-time graduate students. This department is committed to preparing students to institute social and political reform, improve places and spaces, make institutions work, and advocate for underrepresented constituencies. The MCP program trains students to focus on the approaches to a situation and think about problems rather than concentrate exclusively on technical planning methodology. The CDWSP students intern at one of the dozens of state, city, and community-based agencies participating in the program.
