| The University of Cincinnati's Masters of Community Planning (MCP) degree is a 2-year professional program that prepares students to enter the profession of community planning as a generalist planner. The university's Community Development Work Study Program supports students in achieving a MCP degree with a community building specialty in either physical planning or economic/community development. Students will take a one-credit seminar each quarter that will be held at two or three different community building agencies such as the Department of City Planning, a community center, or the Urban League. Staff from the agencies will discuss the nature of their programs as well as other matters related to job placement and career development.
