| University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff intends to use its Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) grant to expand the university's role in improving the community in which it is located. The project is structured to provide for long-term revitalization of North Pine Bluff through housing, business development, personal and social development programs, and community empowerment assistance. All of the project's activities will focus on the developmental needs of the low- to moderate-income residents of the target community to include all parts of Census Tract 5.02 in Jefferson County, Arkansas.
