| University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff intends to use its Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Category II grant to enhance and impact their Economic Research and Development Center’s (ERDC) role in the community. The project is structured to provide long-term revitalization of the University Park Neighborhood through support for community organizations that develop, strengthen and otherwise carryout housing and physical infrastructure improvement, housing development and rehabilitation, as well as support social educational programs. In addition, resources will be dedicated to support the expansion of small businesses within the university’s business incubator.
