| Texas Southern University in Houston will receive a Historically Black Colleges and Universities grant of $500,000 to provide skills training to the unskilled and technical assistance for the creation or expansion of microbusiness enterprises. The grant will enable the university to enroll up to 100 unskilled participants and 100 existing and new business owners in specially designed training programs. In addition, part of the grant will help Neighborhood Networks, Inc., create and expand its learning centers.
