West Virginia State College will utilize HBCU funds to carry out a project called "Helping Our Undergraduates Succeed in Education." (HOUSE) This program will help to improve the economic prospects of members of the community and revitalize the neighborhood. The program will provide transitional housing for high-risk youth and teach them self-sufficiency while giving them the opportunity to obtain a college education.
