Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) will use its Hispanic-Serving Institutions Assisting Communities (HSIAC) grant to implement a job-training program along with educational workshops in personal finance and homeownership. The proposed project, consisting of vocational training, homeownership courses, and personal finance workshops, will provide pathways for employment opportunities, career ladders, community recovery, neighborhood stabilization and strengthened families.
