| Delaware State University intends to use its Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) grant to develop and implement a project that includes affordable housing development, microenterprise development, job training, and creation and programming for the low- and moderate-income residents of Coverdale Crossroads in Sussex County, Delaware. The project will enable Delaware State University to enhance its level of community involvement and increase its partnerships. The primary goal of this project is to improve the quality of life for low- and moderate-income residents in Sussex County, Delaware, and particularly in the Coverdale Crossroads community.
