| Southern University at Shreveport (SUS) will use its URAP-HBCU grant to assist the displaced citizens of the Gulf Coast region that have relocated to the Shreveport-Bossier City metropolitan area. The program activities will: provide financial and technical support to displaced small businesses from the Gulf Coast Region; establish a Center for Transitional and Relief Services; provide construction training and homeownership counseling; and provide outreach and service programs for affected youth.
