Overview
The Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College will use its Tribal College and Universities (TCUP) grant to construct a new Technology Resource Center that will provide expanded and upgraded educational facilities to meet current and future program needs. The new facility will be built on tribally owned land in close proximity to the current academic building. The proposed building framework and schematic design will merge the functional requirements associated with building needs with appropriate cultural symbolism.

The project proposed by the College will address critical space needs for academic programs related to technology, student and faculty research, and academic support. The Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College operates its current facility beyond its intended capacity due to enrollment increases. The Technology Resource Center is essential to ensuring the continued development of the College.
