| Fort Peck Community College in Poplar, Montana, will receive a Tribal Colleges and Universities Program grant of $400,000 to help plan, design, construct, and equip a comprehensive Vo-Technical Education Center located on institutional property near the main campus. The college has leveraged other funding for this 12,000-square-foot project that will provide classroom, laboratory, offices, storage, and support space for a number of high-profile, accredited career-training programs. Incorporating flexible spatial design, the new facility will be able to accommodate future curriculum and program changes. This project is essential to meet the needs of an expanding student body, as well as increasing demand from local employers for well-trained and highly skilled personnel.
