| West Hills Community College in Coalinga, California will use a Hispanic-serving Institutions Assisting Communities grant to respond to community development needs by expanding their Child Development Center to increase childcare capacity. The Child Development Center will address the HUD Priority of providing opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents to enroll in educational job training programs and by providing infrastructure support for economic development. The project will serve approximately 100 additional children on an annual basis, 70% of which are from low-income families.
