| Binghamton University will use its Community Outreach Partnership Centers (COPC) New Directions grant to focus on the coordination of existing services for optimal use, expanding outreach and referral capabilities, and meeting unmet needs with additional service and resource development. These activities will be accomplished with guidance and support from community members and in close alignment with existing organizations and projects. In addition to the current C3 Task Teams already in place, two Task Teams will be established to address specific target focus areas: youth and employment. The Advisory Council, made up of leaders from community groups and organizations, university partners, the Task Team Leaders, C3 personnel, and residents from the target area will help guide the development of the project’s direction and serves as a coordination mechanism between the Task Teams.
