Overview
Chaminade University of Honolulu (CUH) is a Catholic university founded in 1955. The mission of the institution is to offer the civic and church communities of the Pacific region its academic and intellectual resources in the pursuit of common aims. This program is a partnership between CUH and the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs (AHCC). CUH intends to acquire a property that will house the AHCC and provide a facility from which the Hawaiian Civic Clubs can serve their communities. It will also be used as a training and community outreach facility. The facility will be located in a lower-income census tract in the City and County of Honolulu. Activities will include community service by Chaminade students, faculty, and staff.
