| Sinte Gleska University (SGU) is a tribally controlled institution of higher education located on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation that borders the City of Mission, South Dakota, in south central South Dakota. The campus includes 26 buildings spread out over a 2-square-mile area. SGU proposes to build a 50' x 100' two-story log structure with a full basement for the President’s Administration and Student Service Center. The President’s Administration and Student Service Center will provide a safe, healthy, and academic environment for students and faculty, as well as encourage visitation from community members not yet enrolled in university programs. By expanding available services to current and future students, the college seeks to increase enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.
