| United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) is a nonprofit, post-secondary educational institution founded in 1969 by five North Dakota tribes. The mission of the institution is to provide educational services to grassroots Native Americans. UTTC is the largest employer in Bismarck, North Dakota, and reports a local economic impact of $54 million. UTTC proposes to expand the James Henry Community Center, thus creating a focal point for community health and wellness. It will provide students and faculty an opportunity to implement and assess program services. In addition, the program will improve communications and resource sharing between the college’s health and wellness programs and the community.
