University of Utah intends to use its Community Outreach Partnership Centers grant to serve six neighborhoods on the west side of Salt Lake City. A 30 member Advisory Board composed of ten west side residents, ten community leaders, and ten campus representatives worked together and devised a plan for addressing housing and neighborhood revitalization, strengthening education for area youth, and engaging in community organizing.
