| Emory University intends to use its Community Outreach Partnership Centers grant to establish a COPC that will focus Emory's faculty, staff, and students on partnership activities to benefit residents of neighborhoods in Northwest Atlanta. The Emory COPC will support outreach, teaching, and research activities focusing on a) affordable housing and vacant property development; b) academic success for middle and elementary school students; and c) resident empowerment, organization, and community capacity building.
