| Central Arizona College-Pinal County Community College District intends to use its Hispanic-Serving Institutions Assisting Communities (HSIAC) grant to implement Project CACTI (Central Arizona Community Transformation Initiative), which can meet the career development needs of residents seeking to prosper in the region’s burgeoning labor market. The project will combine a comprehensive one-stop workforce development center and skill center under one roof, allowing for a seamless transition from job-training programs to job search and placement services. The college is collaborating with the Arizona Department of Economic Security, among several other organizations, to develop this dual-purpose facility.
