| Albany State University will use this grant to develop and implement three strategic areas: economic development, housing and community development, and educational services. The university will address economic and community development needs of residents living in Albany's Enterprise Communities, which is a HUD-designated Neighborhood Revitalization strategy (NRS) area. Programs and services will be provided to enhance economic development; educate and train residents for viable employment; and improve public safety, housing, and social services in Albany's Enterprise Communities and the HUD designated NRS.
