Clinton Junior College intends to use its Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) grant to construct and sell a minimum of four affordable, new, framed brick homes for low- to moderate-income persons; rehabilitate a minimum of three deteriorating homes that are owned and occupied by low-income persons in the target area, at no charge to these owners; and perform renovations to Carroll Park, the 11.4-acre public park adjacent to Clinton Junior College’s campus.
