| Mesalands Community College intends to use its Hispanic-Serving Institutions Assisting Communities (HSIAC) grant to implement the following three activities, which would benefit the low- to moderate-income residents of Tucumcari, New Mexico: 1) development of a building trades program to train students in the construction of housing; 2) neighborhood revitalization support services to develop social and human capital among low-income housing clients; and 3) entrepreneurship development and programs to support the Eastern New Mexico Art Space Center.
