| Howard University, through its partnership in the Georgia Avenue Community Renaissance Initiative (GACRI), will be undertaking six new activities that build on its previously funded activities. HUD resources will allow Howard University to add three new community partners that will augment housing rehabilitation and repair projects to benefit low- to moderate-income homeowners/buyers. In addition, Howard seeks to institutionalize community development by further developing the university's curriculum to provide degree and certificate programs with intensive community development and technical assistance internships.
